JuicyScout collects minimal information to provide and improve our service:

Session identifiers: We store a randomly generated session ID in your browser's localStorage to provide basic functionality such as wishlist features. This is not linked to any personal information.
IP addresses: Collected when you submit reviews to prevent abuse and duplicate submissions.
Search queries: We log search queries in aggregate for analytics purposes to improve search quality. These are not linked to individual users.
Advertiser accounts: If you register as an advertiser or creator, we collect your email address and a hashed password to manage your account.

To provide and maintain the search service
To prevent abuse and enforce our terms of service
To improve search relevance and platform quality
To manage advertiser accounts and campaigns

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use localStorage for session management and user preferences (such as age verification status and wishlist data). Advertiser sessions use a secure HTTP-only cookie containing a JWT token. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention

Search analytics data is retained in aggregate form. IP addresses associated with reviews are retained for as long as the review exists. Advertiser account data is retained until the account is deleted.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of any personal data we hold about you by contacting us at contact@juicyscout.com. You can clear your localStorage data at any time through your browser settings.
